Who watches Watchmen? We watch Watchmen!
Now that's just a quote from my favourite online comic (who can't possibly have gotten it from the movie)
We all went to watch Watchmen yesterday (Saturday)! Well, no, "all" didn't go, but Me, Magnar, Sofie and André were there! Lisa went too, but only to eat ice cream at a pizza place (guess which place).
So, the movie: It was really good! Kinda weird sometimes, but the combintion of matrix-ish fighting, awesome technical designs, and a little too much of the erotics stuff gives it a 10/10 rating in my book. Okay, maybe 9/10, as I probably need to see it twice to get all of it. Or three times... Hm, that might not be a bad thing after all, just increases the "movie experience".
So maybe it was a 10/10 after all.
Anyway, I have a proposition for you! The summer holidays are quickly approaching, and I've been told to get the hell out of the country for them. Well, that's because Mum wants me to "visit other countries while I'm young". Specifically Paris. Hence, I really need someone who can help me survive at least a few days up there. Preferably someone who manages more French than I do. (i.e. more than Bonjour). Which should be the whole lot of you, so you're all invited.
It doesn't necessarily have to be Paris, or even just Paris. Someone told me Belgium is a nice country. So is Spain, for that's sake.
We can even visit London (again, if we want to). Or both London and France. There definitely go buses through the channel tunnel, so that's a great (cheap) way to visit both places!
And I'm totally serious here, so leave comments!

Hi there! Thought I'd surf the wave too!
Though I'm not getting as political as our dear Lisa is getting, nor as filosofic as our pretty catwombat.
I thought I'd start of with a pretty scary thing that happened at camp two days ago. First take a look at this youtube clip of me!

Now, on Tuesday we were trying to do this during a full drill, where we do all the drills we've learnt in one go.
Thing is, the thrower threw the gun too short. It almost hit me, (I ducked almost flat down on the floor) but when the catcher tried to get hold of it, it had spun too far. The bayonet hit him in the neckline (just below the jaw) and sliced open a 10 cm cut. He was extremely lucky, though. He bled a lot, but the bayonet had avoided anything essential. Had to sew 17 stings though.
Now the thing is, I'm the reserve for him. I'm also catching the weapons like that (though I haven't got a vid of it yet)
